I will come to your house and cook a seven course delicious and adventurous concept dinner, investigating how German immigrants influenced American Food. It is a historic discovery with your senses. You can invite your guests to make the historic references with their tongue, eyes and nose. Each course will have its own personal twist, a contemporary take on something old, or a family recipe. Historic facts and guesses, along with a well-chosen wine and beer pairing accompany the courses and explanations of recipes, how they may have left their mark in American food culture, found their way to the New World or stayed behind on the Old Continent. I offer this in other US cities too, but will have to charge extra for flight and accommodation. We will make sure to plan the dinner according to COVID 19 social distancing and hygienic measurements.
